A Nigerian lady shared how she reacted to an estimate of fifteen million naira presented to her for her baby’s dedication ceremony in church.
A price tag that involves catering, souvenirs, media coverage, and other special arrangements. However, instead of following the growing trend of extravagant baby dedication, she made a bold and personal decision.
The lady approached her pastor and his wife after a regular service and respectfully requested a simple prayer of blessing for her newborn.
Clad with modest attire and her baby cradled gently in her pastor’s hands, she knelt before the clergy for prayers over her child, surrounded by only a few onlookers who remained after the service.
