Mohammed Fuseini set up two goals and scored one as Royal Union Saint-Gilloise defeated Gent 3-2 in the Belgian Cup to advance to the semifinals of the competition.

Fuseini joined the Belgian club from Randers FC at the start of the 2024/25 season and has quickly become an integral part of the team.

Although he has played 14 league matches this season, he made his domestic cup debut on Wednesday, December 4, 2024.

In the match, he provided two assists and scored a goal, delivering an outstanding performance.

With Royal Union Saint-Gilloise vying for a spot in the semifinals, Fuseini played a pivotal role. In the 13th minute, he set up David Promise to put Saint-Gilloise ahead.

Just three minutes after the break, Fuseini scored to give his team a 2-1 lead. Ten minutes later, he provided another assist for David Promise, with the duo brilliantly sealing Saint-Gilloise’s place in the semifinals.

Fuseini now has nine goal contributions for Royal Union Saint-Gilloise since joining the team: six goals and three assists in 18 matches.
