The Miss Tourism Ghana 2025 pageant continues its dynamic calendar of events with a spirited culture and debate night on Tuesday August 19, 2025, giving contestants a platform to show their intellectual prowess and cultural awareness.
Held as part of the lead-up to the grand finale, the event featured engaging debates centered on the theme: “The critical role of women in climate action and sustainable development.”
Madam Delight Sedinam Atsyor, Head of Operations, Miss Tourism Ghana, praised the contestants for their poise, eloquence, and thoughtful contributions to the discussion, displaying their intellect aside from their beauty.
“All the contestants put up a fantabulous performance today with an outstanding colourful appearance,” she said, commending their strong public speaking skills and stage confidence.
She encouraged the public to continue supporting the young women as they journeyed through the competition.
Madam Atsyor said the Culture and Debate Night formed part of a broader programme designed to highlight not only beauty but also the intellectual and cultural depth of the contestants.
Other upcoming activities include a swimwear competition at Elmina in the Central Region, a reading night at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra; and the much-anticipated GTP and Lush Hair Fashion Show scheduled for Sunday, August 24, at the Accra City Hotel.
Madam Atsyor reiterated the pageant’s commitment to promoting Ghana’s rich tourism, culture, and heritage both locally and on the global stage.
“Miss Tourism Ghana remains a platform that empowers young women to be ambassadors of change while showcasing the beauty and uniqueness of Ghana,” she added.
The 2025 pageant continues to draw national attention as it blends elegance with advocacy and cultural celebration.
