During a brief interaction with Daddy Lumba’s long-time manager, Roman Dada, the Minister expressed her profound sadness over the loss, revealing that the ministry was in talks with the legendary musician about a potential collaboration just weeks prior to his death.

“This news has truly shaken me…we were planning something with him not long ago, and now this… It’s a great loss to all of us,” she sadly stated.

Daddy Lumba, born Charles Kwadwo Fosuh, reportedly passed away in the early hours of Saturday, July 26, 2025, at the Bank Hospital in Cantonments, Accra. He was 60 years before his sad demise.
