Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has shared the latest developments on Thomas Partey’s injury.

A club statement by Arsenal on Saturday, November 30, 2024, revealed that Thomas Partey had picked up an injury and, as a result, missed the Gunners’ 5-2 win over West Ham.

Arsenal were hoping the Ghanaian midfielder would be available when they host Manchester United on Wednesday, December 4, 2024.

However, speaking ahead of Wednesday night’s clash, and with Partey, Merino, Gabriel, and Calafiori all sidelined, Arteta revealed that a late decision will be taken on the involvement of these players.

“We’re going to have a meeting this afternoon. We have done a training session,” he said. “We monitored and kept some players away from certain activities. They all want to play.”

Arsenal currently sit second in the Premier League standings with 25 points after 13 games.
