Mike FM, a Sunlight Media subsidiary, will electrify the airwaves of Navrongo on Saturday, November 23rd, 2024 after a successful test run, General Manager Senyalah Castro relays.

This upcoming radio station with the tagline “Your Credible Voice “ pledges to transform the media scene in the area, providing a new point of view and varied content.

Mike FM’s goal is to educate, engage, and uplift the residents of Navrongo and nearby areas. The station aims to engage with its audience on a deeper level, possibly by emphasizing local news, music, and cultural programs.

The frequency 105.3 MHz has already taken over the airwaves within its catchment areas as vibrant DJs like Coleman and MacLyn take their time on the turntable.

The launch event is set to be a lavish gathering, with the presence of dignitaries, media figures, and supportive residents as well as friends and family.

As Mike FM embarks on its path, it is positioned to emerge as a prominent voice in both the local area and beyond.

    I wish them well.
