    Mikaelian Regains WBC Cruiser Title » December 14, 2025

    Armenian cruiserweight Noel Mikaelian (28-3, 12 KOs) regained his championship in winning a unanimous decision over Badou Jack (29-4-3, 17 KOs) in their rematch in headlining Championing Mental Health, CMH 2: Rematch Season on Prime PPV from the Ace Mission Studios, in downtown Los Angeles.

    Mikaelian displayed the hand speed and was on point throughout the fight. Early on in the opening round tagging Badou with crisp shots. It was the Armenian taking the initiative in round two starting off light and boxing well as Jack was on the receiving end of Mikaelian’s combos. Finishing the second strong, Jack and Mikaelian traded away to the finish the round, things got rough as they continued to swinging after the bell. In the third, the champ Jack began to let loose but the former champion Mikaelian kept shooting away the combinations. There was a clash of heads in the fourth round as the champ was on the receiving end, Mikaelian continued to pepper away with combinations.

    In the fifth, Badou began to pick it up but Mikaelian displayed the hand speed and kept busy. Heading to the halfway point in the sixth, Jack and Mikaelian mixed it up on the inside. Referee Jerry Cantu who was officiating his final bout as referee deducted a point from Mikaelian in the seventh as Mikaelian was hitting behind the head. The following round in the eight things got rough as referee Jerry Cantu was not stepping away easy then deducted a point from Badou, things intensified to close the eighth as Badou and Mikaelian were hitting each other after the bell, flirting with a potential double disqualification.

    Mikaelian stayed composed in the ninth and box as Badou kept getting inside closing the distance. In the tenth, Mikaelian stayed busy taking it to the champ as Badou was limited late in the fight. The championship rounds saw the challenger stay busy going forward as Jack stayed close and clinched in the eleventh. The twelfth and final round saw Mikaelian pushing the fight as the champ was limited with his offense and appeared fatigued clinching away to the final bell.

    After completing 12 rounds, the judges scored the fight 116-110, 116-110, and 115-111 as Mikaelian evens the score in his rivalry with Badou Jack and wins the WBC cruiserweight title.

    Jonny Mansour Victorious

    San Diego lightweight prospect Jonny Mansour (6-0, 2 KOs) won a hard fought unanimous decision over Mexico’s Marc Antonio Juarez Rodriguez (12-10-3, 5 KOs) in the co-feature. It was all Mansour as he boxed effectively throughout the fight, mixing it up against the tough Mexican Rodriguez in route to the decision win.

    All three judges scored the fight 60-54.

    Robert Daniels Stops Tristan Hamm in One

    Cruiserweights Robert Daniels Jr. (9-2, 8 KOs) made it a quick night scoring a first round stoppage over Tristan Hamm (1-3, 1 KO). Daniels attacked early and scored a knockdown as Hamm took a standing eight count. Daniels continued his attack as the referee finally seen enough stopping the fight at 2:24.

    Brook Sibrian Evens the Score

    Light flyweights Coachella Valley’s Brook Sibrian (9-2 4 KOs) and Gloria Munguilla (8-3) of Los Angeles squared off in a rematch for the vacant WBC International title. Getting straight to business, Munguilla and Sibrian didn’t hold back trading from the opening bell. Sibrian pressed in round two behind the stiff jab as Munguilla was limited and short with the counters. Continuing to fight at a fast pace in round three, Sibrian and Munguilla exchanged with Sibrian. Munguilla began to press in the fourth as Sibrian continued with the jab. Closing in, getting inside the jab, Munguilla but Sibrian stayed composed boxing away.

    Halfway through the fight in the sixth round, Sibrian kept boxing away circling the aggressive Munguilla. In the seventh, Munguilla closed in on Sibrian but the Coachella fighter stuck the jab and fought off Munguilla boxing away. Fighting competitively late in the fight in the eighth, Sibrian mixed it up with the aggressive Munguilla but Sibrian stood some ground. Staying busy in the ninth, Munguilla began to close. It appeared to be anyones fight in the tenth and final round, Munguilla chopped away and attacked with Sibrian sticking the jab boxing away. Munguilla and Sibrian traded away to the final bell in completing their second fight.

    Upon completing ten rounds the judges scored the bout 97-93 for Sibrian, 96-94 in favor of Sibrian, and 95-95 as Sibrian wins the majority decision and captures the WBC light flyweight International title.

    Juilis Ballo Gets the Win

    Lightweight Julius “Ju Ju” Ballo (2-0) of San Diego won a hard fought unanimous decision against a tough Juan Centeno (10-25-4, 2 KO’s) of Nicaragua. Ballo was sharp in the opening round connecting Centeno with crisp punches as the Nicaraguan shrugged him but the young prospect stood composed. Controlling from a distance and boxing effectively throughout the fight, Ju Ju was efficient attacking the veteran.

    A precise crunching left hook to the body by Ballo dropped Centeno in round four as Centeno beat the count and continued to fight but was saved by the bell to end the fourth. It was all Ju Ju controlling the fight and outworking the tough Nicaraguan to the decision win.

    Upon completing six rounds all three judges scored the bout 60-53 for Ballo.

    Jordan Decisions Sumrall in PPV Opener

    Super bantamweights Hayley Jordan (1-1) from Wildomar, California got her first pro victory against Chantal Sumrall (1-2-1) of Dallas in opening things up on the Pay per view. Jordan shot out connecting Sumrall with hard right hands in the early rounds. Boxing smoothly and dictating the pace, Jordan was in control as Sumrall was pressing but couldn’t get things going. In the fourth and final round, Sumrall landed a hard straight left backing Jordan to the ropes as the Dallas fighter followed up and attacked. Sumrall and Jordan lept fighting on and traded away to the final bell.

    After completing four rounds, the judges scored the bout 40-36, 40-36, and 39-37

    Whittier lightweight Sasha Saldana (2-0) won a decision over Vana Medrano Yanez (0-2-1). Saldana scored a knockdown and controlled the fight in route to the decision win. The judges scored the bout 40-35, 40-35, and 39-36 as Saldana gets the unanimous decision win.

    Opening the evening’s action from the Ace Mission Studios, Las Vegas super lightweight Adrien Boler (5-0, 3 KO’s) won a clear unanimous decision over Benji Gomez (1-6) from Oxnard. It was Boler that controlled the fight and looked sharp throughout the fight working his way to the decision win as all three judges scored the bout 40-36.
