English Championship club Middlesbrough have formally announced the signing of promising 18-year-old Ghanaian forward Listowell Lord Hinneh, subject to international clearance.

The young striker completes his move to the Riverside Stadium after impressing during a trial period at the club.

Hinneh arrives with experience in Ghana’s top flight, having made appearances for both Berekum Chelsea and Asante Kotoko over the last two seasons, totalling five league matches.

A product of the Ghana-based Samba Stars Academy, Hinneh has also represented his country at the youth international level, further underlining his potential.

Middlesbrough’s acquisition reflects their strategy of identifying and developing young talent, with Hinneh expected to initially integrate into the club’s academy or Under-21 setup as he adapts to English football.

The club will now await the final administrative step of international clearance before the forward can begin training with his new teammates.
