    México gana 2 medallas de bronce en World Boxing Futures Cup en Bangkok

    La delegación mexicana ha conquistado dos medallas de bronce en la Copa Mundial de Futuros de Boxeo Sub-19, que se celebra en Bangkok, Tailandia en un evento organizado por World Boxing.

    Jonathan Bibriesca Arévalo del estado de méxico obtuvo su pase a semifinales tras vencer decisión dividida (3-2) al uzbeko Bekzod Ismoiljonov, en la categoría de los 55 kilogramos, durante la ronda de cuartos de final. Los jueces dieron tarjetas de 29-28, 29-28, 29-28, 28-29 y 28-29 a favor del mexicano.

    Bibriesca Arévalo fue superado en semifinales por el estadounidense Christian Páez por decisión dividida (4-1), con puntuaciones de 28-29, 27-30, 29-28, 27-30 y 28-29, resultado que le permitió asegurar la medalla de bronce.

    Sofía Guadalupe Ramírez Reyes de MIchoacan venció en cuartos de final, por Réferi Suspende Combate (RSC), a la alemana Lorin Sayim, en la división de los 54 kilogramos luego en semifinales, cayó ante la india Joyshree Devi Chirom, también por RSC para obtener la medalla de bronce.

    Este torneo termina el domingo 15 de marzo con los combates finales por la medalla de oro y plata mientras que World Boxing informara la asignación de plazas rumbo a los Juegos Olímpicos de la Juventud Dakar 2026.
