Some aggrieved members of the Divine Healers Church have staged a protest against their long-serving General Overseer, Apostle Isaac Adade.

The demonstration, themed “Save the Divine Healers Church,” was organised by members of the congregation on Sunday, April 28, 2025.

The protesters are calling for Apostle Adade’s resignation after more than 20 years in leadership. They are demanding that he steps aside to allow for new leadership to take over.

A video shared online shows the aggrieved church members holding placards as they voiced their grievances against the current administration.

In June 2024, six pastors of the church filed a motion at the Accra High Court to stop the General Overseer and four other principal officers from staying in office.

They argued that Apostle Isaac Kwabena Adade and five other officers had refused to retire, despite having reached the retirement age of 65 as stipulated by the church’s constitution.
