    Ghanaian actor Melvin Dain has been nominated for Actor of the Year at the 2025 YEN Entertainment Awards, recognizing his standout performances across several acclaimed projects over the past year.

    Melvin Dain’s creative journey has been marked by powerful roles in award-winning films such as Ogbanje, which earned international recognition at the RTF Film Festival in the UK and several screenings across Lagos Nigeria, His stand out performance in House of Klu as Sena Klu. Mosses in Valedictorian (produced by the EbonyLife Creative Academy team in Lagos), and the widely praised For Love and Country produced and directed by the award winning filmmaker Shirley Frimpong Manso further cemented his place among the top rising actors in West Africa’s film scene.

    Voting for the YEN Entertainment Awards is free and runs until November 21st, with winners to be announced on November 25th.
