Fast-rising Ghanaian singer-songwriter Mellissa has released her latest single, “Catch Me If You Can,” a bold and rhythmic declaration of freedom and absolute confidence. Known for her vocals, visuals and vibe Mellissa has quickly become one of the most exciting new voices in West African global music.

“Catch Me If You Can” captures the spirit of the artist in motion, physically, emotionally, and artistically. Unlike her usual sensual afro-sexy visuals, this song plays more on her free spirit and personality delivering a video that sums it all up.

On top of an infectious beat, Mellissa subtly dares anyone to keep up with her pace, as she explores freely, turning her vulnerability to the open world into power.

The single comes ahead of her anticipated debut tape, It’s Whatever, a 5-track collection that dives deep into themes of heartbreak, healing, and transformation.

Written at a time when Mellissa felt emotionally boxed in, the project reflects her resilience and refusal to be defined by pain.

“Catch Me If You Can” sets the tone of her being free-spirited, untouchable, and totally her own.

Mellissa just recently made waves with her sensual collaboration “Tattoo” featuring Nigerian rap star Blaqbonez that showcased her versatility and vocal strength. With each release, she continues to blur the lines between soft and edgy, tender and bold.

“Catch Me If You Can” marks the next chapter in her evolution, backed by a vibrant visual campaign and movement-themed storytelling that places her as a fearless force to watch.

This single is out on all platforms.
