    Popular celebrity barman Cubana Chief Priest is facing backlash online after an X user, who identified as a medical doctor, criticized his approach to healthcare after a viral post.
    The businessman had taken to his Instagram story to vent about the poor state of healthcare in Nigeria, while recounting a visit he made to the hospital.

    He described visiting a trusted hospital in Ikoyi, but waiting over an hour with no doctor available. After another attempt at a hospital in Lekki, which required lengthy online forms, he opted to buy medication from a pharmacy.

    Reacting to the post, the doctor slammed Chief Priest calling it “bizarre” that someone with his wealth could rely on questionable diagnoses and drug cocktails.

    He added that the drug combination Cubana took was potentially harmful and likely ineffective, warning that he might soon fall ill again. tweet read;

    “You really don’t know how bizarre this is. How can you own cars worth billions of naira & they slammed you a useless diagnosis of “Malaria & Typhoid”, they prescribed a cocktail of drugs that will antagonize each other. What happened to investing in personal Doctors for your health? I always say, if you have money, have personal Doctors who are privately intentional about your Health. That’s such a Terrible Drug combination for the supposed ” Malaria & Typhoid” he has. He’d likely be back.”
