Medeama Sporting Club have maintained their lead at the top of the Ghana Premier League standings, two games into the 2025/26 season.

The Yellow and Mauve outfit started their campaign in the league with a hard-fought 2-0 victory against Young Apostles in Week 1.

In their Week 2 encounter against Vision Football Club, Medeama SC put up an impressive performance at TnA Stadium, cruising to an emphatic 4-0 win in front of their fans.

With six goals and six points from the first two matches, Medeama SC are top of the standings, tied with Heart of Lions, also on six points after winning their first two matches of the campaign.

Karela United and Hearts of Oak, both on four points, follow in third and fourth positions respectively on the league log heading into Week 3 next weekend.

Defending champions Bibiani Gold Stars are in sixth position with three points and a game in hand.

Winless in their first two matches, Vision FC, Dreams FC, and Berekum Chelsea find themselves in the relegation zone.

With Week 3 matches set to be played next weekend, all the participating clubs will be keen on picking up wins in their respective matches.
