TDC Ghana Limited has announced plans to roll out a major development project in Ho, marking the company’s first venture outside its traditional base in Tema and signalling the start of a nationwide expansion drive.

The move follows a 2017 amendment of the corporation’s mandate, which extended its operations beyond the Tema Acquisition Area.

The Ho project in the Volta Region will primarily focus on residential housing, supported by complementary infrastructure and facilities.

As part of preparations, a delegation from TDC, the Ministry of Works and Housing, and the Ho Municipal Assembly toured land earmarked for the initiative.

Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Ho, Stephen Adom, welcomed the project, describing it as a bold and timely step toward addressing the housing needs of the municipality.

He pledged strong support by offering TDC temporary office space and ensuring smooth coordination with utility providers and local authorities.

“TDC should not face any barriers in this effort.

We are committed to making sure the project contributes to housing delivery and job creation in Ho,” the MCE assured.

TDC Managing Director, Courage Nunekpeku, expressed gratitude for the MCE’s support, commending his proactive efforts since news of the project broke.

He pledged that TDC would deliver a quality development that Ho could take pride in.

Representing the Minister for Works and Housing, Ebenezer Sam, a director at the Ministry and board member of TDC, underscored the government’s commitment to supporting the corporation in its new nationwide development drive.
