    Ghanaian actress and media personality, Nana Ama McBrown, has disclosed that prior to undergoing her recent surgery, she faced severe pains, which made it difficult for her to even engage in basic chores.

    In a discussion on Onua Showtime, shared on social media on August 24, 2025, Nana Ama McBrown explained that due to the intensity of the pain, she couldn’t bathe and wear dresses all by herself.

    “I thank God that I can now lift my hands as I am sitting here right now. I don’t feel pain anymore.

    “Before I went for the surgery, I couldn’t even wear panties by myself. I couldn’t even bathe. Someone had to bathe me and dress me up,” she said.

    The recent relapse of her arm condition comes on the heels of numerous other complications she has faced since surviving a horrific accident nearly 13 years ago.

    The actress revealed that her life has never been the same since that incident.

    On January 30, 2013, Nana Ama McBrown was reportedly involved in a car accident on the George Walker Bush Highway around Lapaz at about.

    Her husband Maxwell Mensah, who was then her boyfriend, was said to have also been badly affected as the two were rushed to the 37 Military Hospital.

    Maxwell, who narrated the incident after recovering from unconsciousness at that time, said a vehicle crossed their path as they were returning from a movie shoot.
