The wife of popular Ghanaian pastor Rev. Obofour, Ciara Antwi, has expressed frustration over social media allegations suggesting that she is a lesbian.

Taking to social media, Ciara Antwi addressed her displeasure with the accusations, which she deemed baseless. In a strong response, she invoked a curse, stating that she would suffer and become a cripple if the allegations against her were true.

“I don’t understand why, if you ignore people who start talking about you, they assume you’re a fool. I don’t know why they even added a picture of my husband [Rev. Obofour] to the conversation,” she said.

“No one on this earth has seen me having sexual relations with a woman. I leave the person responsible for spreading these false allegations to God. If what they are saying is true, may I suffer in life and become a cripple until I die.”

She affirmed her orientation, explaining that she is only attracted to men, which is why she married Rev. Obofour.

“I am into men; that’s why I married my husband. I am proud to be his wife. I will reiterate if I am a lesbian, may I suffer. But if I am not, I leave all those making these accusations in the hands of God,” she added.
