Match Week 4 of the University of Ghana Corporate Football League brought another round of thrilling encounters, with teams battling fiercely for points.

The games played on Friday, March 14th 2025, featured impressive performances, intense rivalries, and crucial results that could shape the course of the competition.

The Ghana Armed Forces Officers Sports Club (GAFOSC) claimed a 2-0 win over the Ghana Football Association (GFA) in a match that was rescheduled due to the Black Stars’ World Cup qualifier against Chad.

GAFOSC started strong, controlled possession and created chances early on but struggled to convert. The breakthrough finally came when Major Xavier Ketor-Tay scored the first goal. They sealed the win with a late goal from Sergeant Gabriel Duah, securing three vital points.

A hard-fought battle between the Forestry Commission and Stanbic Bank ended in a 1-1 draw. Stanbic Bank took the lead with a well-placed finish by Abdallah Anass, but the Forestry Commission responded with an equalizer from Harry Lomoko. Both teams pushed for a winner, but solid defensive displays ensured the points were shared.

The match between the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) and Media General ended in a stalemate, as both teams struggled to find the back of the net. Despite creating chances, strong defensive performances and excellent goalkeeping kept the game level. Both sides will be looking to sharpen their attacks in the coming fixtures.

BUI Power Authority secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Zenith Bank, capitalizing on a defensive error to score the only goal of the match scored by Abdul Rauf Abubakari. Zenith Bank fought hard to equalize but found BUI’s defence difficult to break down. The win gives BUI a crucial boost as they push for a higher spot in the standings.

The National Petroleum Authority (NPA) put on an impressive display, earning a 2-0 win over Central Administration, UG. Their attacking strategy paid off, as they found the net twice while keeping their opponents at bay. Goals were scored by Tijani Shaibu and Prince Anderson. Central Administration struggled to respond and will need to bounce back stronger in their next fixture.

Join us again this Friday, March 21, 2025 at the University of Ghana Stadium, 5pm as the UG Corporate Football League continues to deliver exciting match-ups!
