Watch highlights of Hearts of Oak’s victory over Asante Kotoko

    Kotoko Ratings

Mohammed Camara (6/10): Decent in goal despite conceding once. Made a couple of saves to keep the scoreline narrow and distributed the ball well.

Lord Amoah (5/10): The left-back struggled to contain attacks, with Hearts exploiting his side several times.

Samba Gilbani (7/10): Strong defensive display, blocking shots and preventing Hamza Issah from making dangerous runs.

Henry Ainsu (6/10): Worked well with Gilbani but showed inconsistency at times, which cost Kotoko.

Patrick Asiedu (5/10): Underperformed at right-back, overwhelmed by Martin Karikari’s persistent attacks.

Patrick Badu (5/10): Failed to control the tempo in midfield, allowing Hearts to dominate. Substituted after a poor showing.

Walid Fuseini (7/10): Impressive in midfield with agility and control, aiding transitions.

Hubert Gyau (7/10): A constant attacking threat, forcing Benjamin Asare into a crucial save.

Saaka Dauda (5/10): Lacked precision in passing and was dispossessed multiple times.

Albert Amoah (5/10): Missed good chances in the game and failed to live up to expectations.

Yakubu Dogo (5/10): Another underwhelming display from the striker, who lacked opportunities to score.

    Hearts of Oak Ratings

Benjamin Asare (8/10): Outstanding in goal, making decisive saves to keep a clean sheet. Deservedly named Man of the Match.

Emmanuel Amankwah (5/10): Started well but was sent off after a cynical tackle.

Kelvin Osei Asibey (7/10): Solid at center-back with crucial clearances and tackles.

Baba Adamu (7/10): Brilliant aerial presence, scored the only goal with a looping header.

Ali Mohammed (6/10): Struggled to contain Karikari on the left flank and was exploited at times.

David Oppong (7/10): Provided defensive cover while contributing to attacks.

Abdul Karim (7/10): Asserted himself in midfield, making it difficult for Kotoko to penetrate.

Martin Karikari (7/10): Constant threat, delivering defense-splitting passes to the forwards.

Mohammed Hussein (7/10): Pressed well and created chances for his side.

Wawuli Wayo (7/10): Instrumental in linking play to the forwards and maintaining composure under pressure.

Hamza Issah (5/10): Disappointing up front, failing to convert the few chances he had.
