Jordan Spieth‘s caddie tried to calm him down with a stern message as the golfer’s frustration started to spill over during the second round of the Masters Friday.
The 2015 winner was flirting with the cut line during day two at Augusta National with his Masters fate coming down to the final hole.
And the three-time major winner’s tension was clear on the 18th as he let his caddie, Michael Greller, know it.
Spieth found himself on the right edge of the fairway after his tee shot veered off course and clipped a tree.
Ending up way off target, Spieth was left facing 213 yards into the green with his view in slightly cut off by the overhanging trees lining Holly’s fairway.
‘At this point, 4 is out the window. It’s not happening… I’m so frustrated,’ Spieth was captured telling Greller on the broadcast.

But Greller, who has been on the bag for Spieth for 14 years was having none of the defeatist attitude, as he issued a blunt response.
‘Alright, well get over it,’ Greller responded. ‘You gotta get over it.’
But Greller continued to get caught in the crossfire as Spieth’s failed to brush off his frustration. ‘That’s a full f***ing shot,’ Spieth added.
Spieth was proven correct when he was forced to opt for the conservative route in, finding the dancefloor in three before two-putting.
The error led to a bogey five for the former champion, who finished with the day with a one-over 73.
However, it was enough for Spieth to just sneak through to the weekend on the two-over cutmark.
Yet Spieth, alongside Jon Rahm and Patrick Cantlay who also made the cut on the number, sits ten shots back of leader Justin Rose.
