Hearts of Oak coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani has praised the mentality and commitment of his Hearts of Oak players after they ended the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season with an impressive 4-2 victory over champions Medeama SC.

The Phobians produced a strong performance at the Accra Sports Stadium to secure third place on the league table with 54 points.

Hamza Issah netted a brace in the 4th and 56th minutes, while an own goal and a late strike from Mawuli Wayo sealed victory for the Rainbow Club.

Medeama’s goals came through Kingsley Braye and Amo Mensah, but the champions could not stop Hearts from finishing the campaign on a high note.

Speaking after the game, Dramani highlighted consistency and maintaining the right mentality as key reasons behind the team’s strong finish to the season.

“I think that keeping consistency and your purpose in the right approach you put in place is so key. Irrespective of how it’s going, you need to be more front-looking and then keep your purpose upright,” Dramani said.

The experienced coach also credited the players for their commitment and energy throughout the contest.

“Unfortunately, I don’t score goals. It’s the players. I keep acknowledging the efforts, the energy, the intensity and aggression that we bring in our play, which is our identity and also the commitment of the boys, which has produced this result,” he added.
