Controversial influencer Mandy Kiss has officially been unveiled as the brand ambassador for the Lagos State Kick Against Drug Abuse (LASKADA) initiative.

The announcement was made by Mr. Mobolaji Ogunlende, Commissioner for Youth and Social Development, who explained the government’s decision to partner with Mandykiss.

According to him, this is a bold move by the Lagos State Ministry of Youth and Social Development aimed at using influential voices to combat the growing drug abuse crisis in the state.

Acknowledging her controversial past, the Commissioner emphasized the importance of redemption, influence, and using one’s platform for good.

“This was not expected to happen today, but as God has designed it, we are here with Mandy Kiss, and she has agreed to become one of our LASKADA brand ambassadors. Lagos State Kick Against Drug Abuse. Drugs are a pandemic that’s hitting our streets, our society, and our community. The government can not fight it alone; we must work in collaboration with those who can reach as many people as possible, and we know Mandy Kiss has a large followership. We have had conversations and tried to do things differently. Everybody has a past; nobody is perfect. As a brand ambassador for LASKADA, we hope Mandy Kiss will be able to reach the nooks and crannies of Lagos to assist us in fighting this pandemic. SAY NO TO DRUGS!” He said
