A Nigerian man has become the topic of discussion online after reportedly marrying a second wife in his quest for a male child, only for the second wife to give birth to twin girls.
The story, which was shared by a neighbor on X (Twitter), quickly went viral due to sparking mixed reactions among internet users.
The neighbor noted that despite having five daughters with his first wife, the man believed she was the reason he hadn’t had a son. His decision to take a second wife was apparently driven by pressure to produce a male heir.
However, the birth of twin girls from his second wife added a twist to his fate, which many social media users found humorous.
According to the neighbor, the third wife is currently on her way to his home, and there’s a strong belief that she will also give birth to girls.
His tweet read, “My neighbor who married another wife because his first wife had 5 female kids. Today, the second wife just delivered twin girls. Even if he married another woman, she would definitely give birth to another baby girl. Third wife is on her way to the house, and she’ll definitely give birth to 10 girls.”
