    A Nigerian man has taken to social media to share a jaw-dropping incident that happened in his family home on Palm Sunday.

    Sharing in multiple tweets on X formerly Twitter, he revealed that it involved his cousin, an 11-year-old boy, who got violent towards his 25-year-old sister over a confiscated phone.

    According to him, it all started when his phone was seized by his sister for refusing to do his laundry.

    In retaliation, he locked her inside her bedroom, and when their 80-year-old grandmother scolded him for his actions, he locked her in the sitting room and locked himself in his dad’s room.

    The man said all efforts to force him out of the room were abortive until they broke down two doors and dragged him out, causing him to yell and challenge his mother physically.

    The poster recalled that he wanted to beat him, but their Grandma pleaded on his behalf, after which the boy went to the kitchen and picked up a machete intending to kill his sister.

    Thankfully, his parents managed to block his way before any harm was done, and he knocked him on the head, which seemed to finally calm him down.

    Some parts of his tweet read;

    “He went to the kitchen to pick a machete. Little man wanted to kill his sister. My parents blocked his path, and he kept yelling. He even put his face in my mum’s face to challenge her. So I gave him a knock on the head and he sat his ass on the floor. My mum took the phone. His elder brother arrived shortly after.

    His elder brother took him out to God knows. Little man came back six hours later with the big sister he locked up to ask for forgiveness. Devil’s handwork apparently.“

    The post has since gone viral sparking conversation among internet users, who kept emphasizing the need for discipline.
