A man has been rushed to hospital after being shot in the leg during an early-morning attack in Sydney‘s west.
Police rushed to a home on Urana Street in Villawood just before 4.20am on Friday.
Officers discovered a man, believed to be in his 40s, suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg.
He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being rushed to hospital in a stable condition.
A crime scene has been established at the home.
Police have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the shooting.
