    A frustrated customer has called out a Chicken Republic outlet in Ilorin after mistakenly transferring ₦2.3 million instead of ₦2,300 for a meal he bought.

    In a video that has since gone viral, the man can be seen standing inside the restaurant, expressing his anger and pleading for help from the public.

    According to him, it has been eight days since the incident occurred, yet he has not received any refund or response from the outlet.

    The visibly upset customer warned that if the issue is not resolved soon, he may be forced to take further action.

    He concluded the video by asking Nigerians to help share the clip so that it can get the attention of Chicken Republic’s management.

    He was heard saying;

    “This is where I came to buy something, I bought something worth N2,300 in Chicken Republic, but I mistakenly sent N2.3 Million.. Since then, they have not refunded me, they claim to be filling out a form. There’s a possibility that tomorrow, if Chicken Republic doesn’t refund my money, they will not open this particular outlet. You all should please help me share this video so it can reach their management. For 8 days now, they have refused to refund me my money.”

    At the time of this report, the company is yet to issue an official response or address the incident.
