A 55 year-old man was fatally shot near a parked vehicle in Melbourne.
Emergency services responded to calls from frightened witnesses at about 4.15pm on Tuesday after the man was shot near a vehicle parked at the intersection of Napier Street and Gertrude Street in Fitzroy.
It is believed the man was part of an altercation with a number of people before he was shot.
