    A young Nigerian has sparked controversy after admitting to selling his late father’s land to stake a bet.

    In a viral video, two women, reportedly family members, confronted the man, who remained silent and introspective during the exchange.

    During the confrontation, he initially confessed to selling the land for fifty million naira to pursue his music dreams but on further interrogation, opened up on using the money to play sporty bet.

    The aspiring musician’s actions have allegedly sparked family tensions, with relatives expressing disappointment and outrage over his decision.

    His actions have sparked buzz online with many either sympathizing, mocking or blaming him. Many iterated the dangers getting addicted to money-making schemes, gambling and betting.
