A young man identified as Enock has been left in a state of deep regret after discovering that a woman he unknowingly dated and later encouraged to undergo an abortion was actually his biological cousin.

Tragically, the woman died as a result of complications from the unsafe abortion.

Speaking on Secret TV, a YouTube channel hosted by Pastor Prince Elisha Osei that focuses on resolving domestic and social issues, Enock narrated the heartbreaking story.

According to him, he met the young woman on Facebook without knowing they were related. At the time, she was living in London, United Kingdom, while he was based in Ghana.

“I didn’t know she was my cousin when we met on Facebook, all I knew was that she lived abroad and because of that, I had bad intentions. I planned to spend her money, so I lied to her about loving her.”

Enock said they dated online for about two years before the woman decided to travel to Ghana to meet him. She spent three months with him during the visit and along the line, she became pregnant.

However, Enock revealed that he was already in a relationship with another woman in Ghana.

He had confided in this Ghana-based girlfriend about his “foreign girlfriend,” making it clear that he was only interested in the woman abroad for financial gain.

He said his Ghana-based girlfriend eventually convinced him to pressure the woman from London to abort the pregnancy.

“My girlfriend here told me to make her abort it since I wasn’t in love with her,” he said.

“So, I did. I convinced her to go through with the abortion.”

Tragically, the abortion led to severe health complications. Enock said the woman became seriously ill after the procedure, prompting her parents to fly her back to Ghana for medical care. Throughout the ordeal, Enock kept quiet about being responsible for the pregnancy.

Sadly, the young woman later died in the hospital due to complications from the failed abortion. Not knowing the identity of the man who got their daughter pregnant and caused her death, the grieving mother reportedly pronounced curses on whoever was responsible.

Some weeks later, Enock visited his extended family house and was shocked to see the late woman’s picture displayed as preparations were underway for her funeral. When he asked who she was, he was told she was his cousin the same woman he had dated online.

    “I couldn’t say anything. I couldn’t confess,” he recounted.

“My family also cursed the person responsible for her pregnancy. They didn’t know that person was me.”

Overwhelmed with guilt and fear, Enock said he is now seeking spiritual and emotional guidance from Pastor Prince Elisha Osei.
