A man has been resuscitated after suffering a medical episode in a backyard pool.

Eight police cars and three ambulances rushed to a home on the corner of Holt Street and Ocean Street in Double Bay on Wednesday afternoon.

The man, aged in his 30s, was rushed to hospital in a critical condition after he was given CPR by first responders.

It’s understood he suffered the medical episode while exercising.
