Renowned Ghanaian gospel singer, Mama Esther, has composed a song for the late mother of colleague gospel musician, Empress Gifty.

In a social media post shared by Zionfelix on January 16, 2025, Mama Esther, through her tribute song, noted that the sudden death of Evangelist Agnes Aba Annan, popularly known as “Agaga”, has caused discomfort to her daughter.

She added how her sudden demise has left many, including church members and the creative arts fraternity, in dismay.

Empress Gifty, on December 14, 2024, announced the passing of her mother, “Agaga,”, through a social media post.

Empress Gifty, in a recent social media post, has shared details of when her late mother would be laid to rest.

In the post, the musician noted that her mother would be put to rest on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at the Tema Community 8 school park.

She further called on sympathisers to mourn with her as she pays her last respects to her mother.
