Majeed Ashimeru has earned a recall to the Black Stars after gaining valuable first-team experience during his recent loan spell at RAAL La Louvière.
The midfielder, who joined the Belgian side in the January transfer window, has since secured consistent playing time, boosting his match fitness and form ahead of his return to the national team setup.
Ashimeru’s last appearance for Ghana came during the Unity Cup in 2025, and his inclusion signals renewed confidence from the technical team as they continue to assess options in midfield.
Known for his energy, ball-carrying ability and creativity, the 27-year-old adds depth and experience to the squad at a crucial time. His return comes as Ghana intensifies preparations for upcoming international assignments, with competition for places expected to remain high across all departments.
Ashimeru will now be aiming to re-establish himself as a key figure in the Black Stars midfield.
