Popular Ghanaian pastor, Nicholas Osei, popularly known as Prophet Kumchacha, has expressed optimism that the recent change in government will bring about economic stability and job opportunities for the youth.

According to him, such opportunities will bring a reduction to the number of ladies who resort to ‘hook-up’ as a result of unemployment among the youth.

Speaking on the current state of the economy in an interview on Onua TV, Prophet Kumchacha noted that with President John Dramani Mahama at the seat of governance, the dollar’s rapid depreciation will eventually decline, leading to a boost in business and employment opportunities.

“The dollar that was fast rising will eventually come down; when the rate comes down, the businessmen will be happy, and the youth too can get jobs.

“Most Ghanaian young ladies have been involved in ‘hook-up’ as a result of unemployment. This act is all over the internet, so you shouldn’t be surprised that we all know about it,” he said.

Prophet Kumchacha expressed hope that President John Mahama’s administration would address these economic and social issues, providing relief to Ghanaians, especially the youth.
