Media personality Nana Aba Anamoah has praised former President John Dramani Mahama for constructing the Kwame Nkrumah Circle Interchange, which according to her, has had a significant impact on the country.

She said the project has alleviated traffic congestion in the area, enabling a smoother flow for both commuters and vehicles.

Nana Aba emphasised that the Circle Interchange, often referred to as ‘Dubai,’ is an important achievement that should not be underestimated, regardless of political affiliations.

“No matter where you belong, you can’t underestimate the impact of the Circle Interchange (Dubai). It has greatly transformed traffic flow. Big kudos to John Mahama for this game-changing project,” she wrote on her X page on October 21, 2024.

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer inaugurated the Kwame Nkrumah Circle Interchange in 2016.

The GH¢320.2 million project was jointly financed by the Brazilian government and the government of Ghana.

This interchange accommodates approximately 84,000 vehicles daily and is a crucial part of the major road network linking Accra’s suburban areas to the central business district.
