Ghanaian comedian DKB is appealing to President John Dramani Mahama and the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) to retain Obour as the Managing Director (MD) of Ghana Post.

In a post shared on social media on February 7, 2025, DKB pointed out Obour’s dedication to reshaping the structure of Ghana Post.

He emphasised that Obour played a key role in reviving the institution and should remain in his position, as he has the potential to contribute to the government’s goals.

“He’s one NPP folk I will never wish to leave. He single-handedly rebranded Ghana Post and brought it back into the light. Most people thought Ghana Post was dead, but well, new regime, new kings,” DKB said.

In 2021, former President Akufo-Addo appointed Bice Osei Kuffour, also known as Obour, as the acting Managing Director of Ghana Post Company Limited.

Obour has continued in the role, even as some NDC members are urging Mahama to remove him from office.
