Actor Prince David Osei has lashed out at former President John Dramani Mahama, accusing him of being a “greedy” leader.

In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter) on December 3, 2024, Prince David Osei questioned Mahama’s political ambitions, pointing out that he has held multiple significant positions over the past 24 years.

He argued that after serving as an MP, Deputy Minister, Minister, Vice President, and President, Mahama should step aside and allow new leadership.

“MP for 12 years, Deputy Minister for 4 years, Minister for 4 years, Vice President for 4 years, President for 4 years, and Former President for 8 years. Yet, he still wants to be president again. The greediness of some African leaders must never be encouraged,” he said.

The actor urged Ghanaians to cast their votes in favour of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, in the upcoming December 7 elections.

He then encouraged citizens to give Bawumia a chance, emphasising that the NPP flagbearer would bring positive change to the country.

“Let’s all vote for a new person, Let’s vote for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia #1,” he added.
