The MAGA world is panicking over fears that Democrats will stop lame duck Donald Trump from appointing a new Supreme Court justice if a vacancy comes about.
On Tuesday night, Democrats won control of both the House and the Senate after Americans responded to Trump’s first two years in his second term.
The election even flipped Senate seats in Texas, South Carolina, North Carolina, Kansas, Iowa, and other states that haven’t seen a Democrat take control in years.
Now, the 80-year-old might not be able to appoint a new Supreme Court justice once Democrats regain control of Congress next year because the new majority will have the power to block Trump’s Supreme Court nominations.
It is unclear if a vacancy will arise, but there have been rumors that conservative justices Clarence Thomas, 78, and Samuel Alito, 76, might retire before the end of Trump’s term.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, a Trump ally, addressed the panic in a social media post while election results came in.
‘Assuming Republicans lose the seats where prediction markets have the Democrats at 90+% to win, that would produce 55 Democrat Senate seats,’ the Republican posted on X.
‘Chance of confirming a worthy successor to Justice Thomas and/or Alito during President Trump’s term: Zero.

Other MAGA allies also shared their concern, including Michael Flynn Jr, who is the son of Trump’s former national security advisor.
In response to DeSantis, Flynn Jr said: ‘One of the worst outcomes as a result of the a– beating we’ve seen tonight… Liberal Supreme Court?’
MAGA influencer Joey Mannarino shared a similar sentiment with his followers.
‘We needed to replace Alito and Thomas while we had the chance. Now we’re f***ed,’ Mannarino posted.
