The battle lines have been drawn in the war between Donald Trump and Marjorie Taylor Greene – as her supporters turn on the president they helped elect.

Trump has publicly distanced himself from the Georgia Republican amid her effort to unseal documents that some believe could tie Trump to Jeffrey Epstein’s crimes.

Trump said that Greene has ‘gone Far Left’ and became ‘a ranting lunatic.’

Greene fired back on Saturday by sharing screenshots of texts to Trump about the promises she made to the victims of Epstein.

The former MAGA diehard said she is receiving death threats ‘fueled and egged on by the most powerful man in the world. The man I supported and helped get elected.’

Several Republicans lined up to support Greene for promoting the ‘America First’ agenda that Trump campaigned on in 2024.

Others, however, insisted that the president fire Chief of Staff Susie Wiles – for mishandling the Epstein debacle.

‘What is going on?’ wrote Heather Mullins, a pro-Trump reporter, ‘[Marjorie Taylor Greene] campaigned for Trump hardcore. I was there.

‘She fought for innocent J6 hostages that were being abused in jail,’ she continued, referring to those who were arrested in connection with the Capitol riot on January 6, 2021. ‘She fought for election integrity.

‘Meanwhile, RINO Lindsey Graham got booted at Trump rallies, but he gets an endorsement and she doesn’t. Why?’

Battle lines are being drawn in the fight between President Donald Trump and his former ally, Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene

The president announced on Friday that he was withdrawing his support for Greene

As Republicans expressed their support for Greene in the feud, some online declared it would be the end of the MAGA movement

Republicans from Greene’s conservative district said they will stand behind her amid her feud with the president.

‘Our working class district understands we have an America First fighter in DC,’ wrote Emory Roy, a field representative for the late Charlie Kirk’s Turning Point Action.

‘The people of the 14th [District], like our Congresswoman, see a system in DC that has failed the middle and muscular class of America,’ Roy posted on X.

‘While we are seeing progress under President Trump’s administration, I know the people of [Northwest Georgia] will stop at nothing until we get back to the founding principles that made this country so great.’

The Republican chair of the district, Jim Tully, also shared a lengthy letter saying Greene has its ‘full and unwavering support.’

‘Congresswoman Greene has consistently demonstrated steadfast commitment to the citizens of Northwest Georgia. She has served with honor, conviction and uncompromising dedication to the principles that define both our district and our nation,’ he wrote, citing her prolife beliefs and opposition to gun control.

‘Recent national criticism directed at Congresswoman Greene does not change the fundamental truth that she serves at the direction of the people of this district,’ he argued. ‘While the president of the United States represents the nation as a whole, Congresswoman Greene represents the people of Northwest Georgia and she has done so with clarity, resolve and integrity.

‘Her willingness to speak candidly, on behalf of her constituents, even in the face of political pressure, underscores her courage and fidelity to oath.

‘We stand with her today, tomorrow and for as long as she continues to serve this district and uphold its values,’ he concluded.

Others on X have questioned Greene’s motives for standing up to the president

Reflecting on Tully’s comments, liberal commentator Harry Sisson declared: ‘MAGA is fractured. Trump doesn’t have the hold he once did.

‘This could be the beginning of the end,’ he suggested.’

Libertarian Clint Russell echoed those sentiments, saying: ‘It’s official. Donald Trump is abandoning MAGA, attacking MTG and [Rep. Thomas] Massie all to cover up the Epstein files

‘Mind blowing,’ he wrote on X. ‘He’s gonna get impeached and honestly, I don’t care.’

Others online, though, have questioned Greene’s motives.

‘MTG’s ability to code switch from insane, stupid right-wing conspiracy theorist to reasonable moderate with thoughtful positions makes her both smarter and more cynical than I gave her credit for,’ one X user quipped.

Former Republican Rep. Adam Kinzinger also begged: ‘Please stop falling for the MTG is a new person con. Please.’

Yet other long-time Trump supporters took to the president’s Truth Social platform to hit out at Greene for her actions.

‘Trump dropping the hammer on woke-Right darlings, Massie and MTG,’ one user wrote. ‘All Massie does is oppose Republicans and smear Trump. All MTG does is complain, smear Trump and embarrass the rest of us.

‘Prepare to be primaried, traitors,’ he warned.’

Another Trump supporter called Greene ‘a complete disgrace to the MAGA Movement,’ asking her to ‘please slither away.’

But it now seems that even those who have supported Trump are demanding he oust so-called ‘Ice Maiden’ Wiles, whose support seems to have waned since Greene was pictured calling her while on the House floor in January.

Republicans are increasingly blaming her for his mishandling of the Epstein files and his controversial claim that the United States needs foreign workers because it doesn’t have enough talented people in its own workforce.

‘Psssssst… hey Susie Wiles, you may wanna pivot now,’ wrote far-right political commentator Ann Vandersteel. ‘The MAGA ship is sailing and several of you missed the boat.

‘Oh and friendly reminder, we the people are YOUR boss. President Trump is too. And WE are his boss.’

Another X user with a picture of Trump as her profile picture agreed, writing: ‘She needs to go before she gets him destroyed in the midterms. Unless that is her goal and I assume it is.’

A third also suggested there are ‘too many boomers as gatekeepers’ as she argued that Trump should ‘get a young [chief of staff] with the pulse on modern American issues.’

Greene has vowed to vote in favor of releasing documents related to pedophile Jeffrey Epstein’s crimes

It was Elon Musk who initially suggested Trump was in the Epstein files just after he’d left the White House, writing on June 5: ‘@RealDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public,’ Musk wrote. ‘Have a nice day, DJT!’

Kentucky Rep. Thomas Massie is now leading the charge to release the files and has secured votes from close Trump allies Greene, Lauren Boebert and Nancy Mace along with all Congressional Democrats.

Since the petition received signatures from half of the entire House, Speaker Mike Johnson is limited in his ability to quash the vote.

Still, Trump has made Massie into a punching bag, including in a post to Truth Social on Friday, mocking his marriage earlier this month, which came just one year after the passing of his wife

He also lashed out at ‘dumb Republicans’ who went along with the Democrats.

‘Because we think it’s bad to talk about it because it gets away from the subject of how well the Republicans are doing,’ he said.

‘We have the greatest economy, we have the largest investment ever made in our country’s history, we have all of these great things happening, we have very little inflation,’ Trump added, comparing his successes to the failures of predecessor Joe Biden.

‘And when you talk about the Epstein hoax, what happens is you’re not talking about how well we’ve done. That’s the whole purpose behind that, they want to waste people’s time and some of the dumber Republicans like that. But it’s mostly Democrats.’

The president further claimed on Friday that he advised Greene not to run for Senate in 2026 as he ‘unendorsed’ her.

‘I am withdrawing my support and Endorsement of “Congresswoman” Marjorie Taylor Greene, of the Great State of Georgia,’ he wrote.

Trump then listed the accomplishments of his nine months in office before alleging that ‘all I see “Wacky” Marjorie do is COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN!’

He wrote: ‘It seemed to all begin when I sent her a Poll stating that she should not run for Senator, or Governor, she was at 12%, and didn’t have a chance (unless, of course, she had my Endorsement — which she wasn’t about to get!).’

The president then claimed that since he refused to endorse her ambitions, he doesn’t return her phone calls.

‘With 219 Congressmen/women, 53 U.S. Senators, 24 Cabinet Members, almost 200 Countries, and an otherwise normal life to lead, I can’t take a ranting Lunatic’s call every day,’ Trump claimed, as he suggested Greene should face a primary to retain her deep red seat in Georgia in 2026.

‘I understand that wonderful, Conservative people are thinking about primarying Marjorie in her District of Georgia, that they too are fed up with her and her antics and, if the right person runs, they will have my Complete and Unyielding Support,’ he said.

The president further claimed Greene ‘has gone Far Left, even doing The View, with their Low IQ Republican hating Anchors. Thank you for your attention to this matter.’

Greene has shared screenshots of texts she sent to Trump about the importance of the Epstein files, as well as with another person named ‘NH’ – an apparent reference to the president’s assistant Natalie Harp

Greene fired back by sharing screenshots of texts she sent to Trump about the importance of the Epstein files.

The text message she sent Trump advised him to ‘lean in’ to former President Bill Clinton‘s own connections to the billionaire pedophile. Earlier Friday, Trump ordered an investigation into Clinton’s ties to Epstein

‘Check the flight logs of Epstein’s plane. Bill Clinton is on there like 26 times! Hillary too!! For many of us, releasing the Epstein files has always been for the women who were victims of Jeffrey Epstein, but also because we believed Democrat bad guys like the Clintons were entangled and involved with him,’ Greene said in the text.

‘Epstein was the spider that wove the web of the deep state. Lean into it,’ she advised.

In the second screenshot, Greene responds to a text from ‘NH’ – who is believed to be the president’s assistant Natalie Harp – that appears to be fuming about her Trump criticisms, stating: ‘THE JEFFREY EPSTEIN HOAX.’

Greene replied: ‘In every single interview I have done I have defended President Trump. I’ve said over and over the women say he did nothing wrong and their attorney says he’s the only one who helped. And the Democrats had 4 years to release the files but did nothing.’

Greene added: ‘Stop ignoring the women. Many of them literally voted for President Trump and say so publicly. Them being raped as teenagers is not a hoax.’

In a lengthy statement on X along with the screengrabs, Greene explained that the president is ‘coming after me hard to make an example to scare all the other Republicans before next weeks vote to release the Epstein files. It’s astonishing really how hard he’s fighting to stop the Epstein files from coming out that he actually goes to this level.’

‘But really most Americans wish he would fight this hard to help the forgotten men and women of America who are fed up with foreign wars and foreign causes, are going broke trying to feed their families, and are losing hope of ever achieving the American dream. That’s what I voted for,’ she continued.

Greene went on to note that she has given Trump ‘too much of my precious time, too much of my own money, and fought harder for him even when almost all other Republicans turned their back and denounced him.’

Greene claimed she had urged the president to take action on the Epstein files

Other issues have divided the right as well, including the president’s support of Israel.

Candace Owens, one of the far right’s biggest media personalities, has continuously hit Trump on his handling of the Middle East.

Earlier this week, she made the wild claim that the state of Israel was blackmailing Trump over the files, repeating the conspiracy theory that Epstein was a Mossad agent.

Tucker Carlson also slammed the government’s support of Israel, calling them ‘not allies in any way.’

The former Fox News host even claimed that he and the late Charlie Kirk had lobbied President Trump not to get involved in the conflict.

Greene has also joined this particular issue, linking up with far left figures like Bernie Sanders in calling the war against Hamas in Gaza a ‘genocide’ and feuding with several prominent Republicans on the issue.

She has previously said she wants the president to prioritize domestic issues, like healthcare, and called the president’s rollout of trade tariffs ‘bumpy.’

On Saturday, Greene even unveiled a new slogan for the Republican party: ‘AFAO,’ standing for ‘America First, America Only.’
