After officially deciding to end her gymnastics career, LSU super senior Livvy Dunne posted photos of her now-empty locker just weeks after the season came to a close.

Dunne posted a pair of images – one showing an empty stall with her name on it and another with a peculiar quantity of an important piece of gymnastics equipment.

She showed the stall first – sitting empty with her name at the top – and captioned it ‘livvy is now dunne’.

A second image showed a startling amount of hand grips that gymnasts use for bar exercises.

These appear to have been stashed in the bottom of Dunne’s locker, with the New Jersey native captioning the image ‘my strange addiction’.

After five years in competitive collegiate gymnastics, Dunne revealed that she will no longer be pursuing the sport.

She also showed off her impressive if not bizarre amount of bar grips stashed in her locker

Dunne and LSU were unable to repeat as national champions when they fell in the semifinals of the NCAA championships last week.

After the elimination, the 22-year-old posted to X: ‘[Peace] out gymnastics, it’s been real… and of course forever LSU!’

LSU, the No. 1 overall seed and defending champion, was denied a chance at a repeat, finished with a score of 197.5250, below Utah and UCLA.

Small errors on the uneven bars and beam proved costly for the Tigers as they fell to fourth place following the two opening rotations.

Dunne herself, however, did not take to the floor for the Tigers in Thursday’s semifinal session. The influencer has been sidelined for the past month with an avulsion fracture in her kneecap.

She suffered the season-ending injury last month, which forced her to miss her last ever Tigers home meet after fracturing her kneecap.

Despite the devastating injury blow, Dunne, sporting a knee brace, was still present for Senior Night ceremonies in Baton Rouge a few days later.

Even though she was unable to compete, Dunne still made the trip to Fort Worth with the Tigers to support her teammates.

Now, Dunne is off to embark on a career in media and modeling – including for SI Swimsuit

Dunne, who boasts over five million Instagram followers, is dating MLB pitcher Paul Skenes

With her athletics career now done and dusted, Dunne will likely leverage her massive social media following into a post-grad career.

Already, she’s earned modeling gigs for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit among other publications and brands.

She’s also signed endorsement deals with a number of companies. That includes Accelerator Energy Drink, a beverage startup that she’s invested in and has collaborated with to produce a signature flavor of drink: cotton candy.

Of course, Dunne won’t go far away from the world of sports. Her boyfriend, Pittsburgh Pirates star pitcher Paul Skenes, has a long career ahead of him and Dunne will likely be along for the ride.
