A fresh wave of terminations has hit the Ghanaian digital space as several top actors, musicians and content creators have had their YouTube channels taken down.

This great hit appears to be the second in just the last two weeks where Ghanaian-owned channels have been removed from the video-sharing platform.

According to updates shared by popular content creator Headless YouTuber, the latest list of affected creators includes major entertainment personalities such as Lilwin, whose channel reportedly had over 500,000 subscribers, as well as celebrated comic actor Akrobeto.

Others who have allegedly been hit include media personality DJ Slim, musicians Epixode and King Paluta, content creators Benson the Creator, Made in Ghana, and several more.

Per the stories circulating online, many of the terminated accounts were taken down due to alleged AI-related infractions of the sort.

Additionally, some channels we gather were reportedly removed because their owners were streaming content with a platform for some betting companies.

This sudden crackdown has left many creators confused and frustrated, especially those whose channels serve as a major source of income and a key link to their fan base.

Conversations online suggest that some of the affected personalities are already appealing the suspensions, hoping to restore their channels as soon as possible.
