Several key Black Stars players will miss the match against Japan

Black Stars head coach, Otto Addo, will field his best XI in the 2025 Kirin Cup against Japan on November 14, 2025.

Despite the omission of some key players from the squad, both experienced and new faces will be given the chance to prove their worth.

Lawrence Ati-Zigi is expected to start in goal, showcasing his prowess in place of Benjamin Asare.

Jerome Opoku and Mohammed Salisu will partner as center-backs to anchor the defense.

Caleb Yirenkyi will occupy the right-back position, while Alidu Seidu will take charge of the left flank.

Real Oviedo’s Kwasi Sibo will lead the midfield, providing defensive cover, while Bonsu Baah and Kamaldeen Sulemana operate in central and attacking roles.

In-form Coventry City striker, Brandon Thomas-Asante, is expected to spearhead the attack as the number nine.

Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo will play on the right wing, with Osei Owusu supporting from the left.

New faces are expected to be introduced as the game progresses to assess their performance.
