Ghanaian musician and entrepreneur Mzbel has shared her views on LGBTQ issues, stating that she sees nothing wrong with people’s sexual orientation or choices.

Speaking in an interview with Nana Romeo on February 8, 2026, Mzbel mentioned that people’s private lives should not be judged, stressing that same-sex relationships have existed for a long time and will continue to exist.

According to her, members of the LGBTQ community possess unique qualities that often make them successful in life.

“LGBTQ is not a big deal. I don’t find anything wrong with what people want to do with their sexual life. People of the same sex having an affair didn’t start today, and it won’t end now,” she said.

Mzbel described gay people as individuals with special energy and a blend of both masculine and feminine traits, which she believes contributes to their achievements.

“The truth is, gays are very successful people. They have some special kind of energy that would help you succeed.

“Since they’re 2 in 1, as in the feminine side and the masculine side, if it’s true there’s God, He will be masculine and feminine. I see gays as divine people who’re being misunderstood,” she stated.

The musician shared that spirituality does not discriminate against anyone based on their sexual orientation and that individuals should be free to live in ways that make them happy.

“Spirituality doesn’t have anything against anyone’s sexual life. Anything you’re doing, since you know it’s good for you, then that’s your business,” she explained.

Mzbel also noted that she naturally enjoys being around gay people because of their lively and positive nature.

“I like gay people naturally because they’re fun to be with. When you’re around them, they wouldn’t think of sleeping you. They have strong energy that manifests everything good,” she said.

She further claimed that many influential people abroad surround themselves with members of the LGBTQ community, whom they believe help them manifest success.

“That’s why big politicians abroad have gays behind them. They use them to get their powers and to manifest things for themselves, so the gay people are always rich and no one knows their source of income,” Mzbel added.
