Legendary Ghanaian gospel singer Akua Serwaa Bonsu makes a powerful comeback after years with a Live In Concert set to happen in Kumasi, Ghana.

Having been active in Ghana’s gospel music fraternity for over 30 years, Akua Serwaa is set to make her first major appearance with the “ADANSE PA WAVE ’25” Live in Concert in Ghana, following the successful Germany edition in 2024.

The event is scheduled for Sunday, 8th June 2025, at Emmanuel Assemblies of God Church, located at Stadium Dadiesoaba YF in Kumasi.

It kicks off at 4:00 PM and is free to attend, with no registration required.

The concert celebrates her fifth studio album, “Adanse Pa,” which was released on 8th December 2023, marking her return after a long break in her music career.

The “ADANSE PA WAVE ’25” will feature guest artistes including Rev Dr Mary Ghansah, Kwaku Gyasi, Adwoa Amankwaa, McDaniels O Bonsu, Adom Kiki, and Sandy Asare.

Rev Yab will join as a collaborating artiste, with Akua Serwaa Bonsu as the main artiste.

Akua Serwaa Bonsu has contributed significantly to Ghana’s gospel music scene since 1997, with her hit album “Nsamarane,” followed by “Noah Nna No” (2000) and “Ebeyeyie” (2002).

These albums were produced by the late German sound engineer Bodo Staiger. Her music journey has included collaborations with Ghanaian music legends such as Daddy Lumba, KK Kabobo, and Oheneba Kissi and many others.

After pausing her music career following the release of her fourth album, “Anadwo Dasuo Mu” in 2007, Akua made her return with “Adanse Pa” in 2023.

Her upcoming live concert in Kumasi promises a spirit-filled experience of praise, worship, and soul-lifting gospel music.
