LeBron James has made yet another bold decision shortly after his bombshell choice to sign with the Philadelphia 76ers earlier this offseason.
The NBA legend sent the basketball world into a frenzy last month when he put pen to paper on a reportedly modest $8 million, two-year contract with the Sixers amid yet another summer of deliberation over his future following his Lakers exit.
Yet, it appears the icon, 41, is already flirting with a career in the media as he enters what is widely expected to be his final seasons in the league.
The NBA’s all-time leading scorer launched a YouTube channel at the weekend, sharing his first video to the platform on Saturday.
Surprisingly, however, the channel is set to stay away from the basketball court with the focus instead on the golf course.
The 41-year-old and his crew will film themselves playing at some of the greatest courses around the world.

The first video, which lasts for over an hour and a half, captured James and some of his teammates from the 2016 Cleveland Cavaliers on the fairways.
The group played at Castle Stuart Golf Links at Cabot Highlands during a European golf trip to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of their NBA championship.
‘You all loved the 2016 reunion trip so much I thought I’d give ya’ll a little more. Welcome to my YouTube channel! My life on and around the course. Let’s go!!!’ James wrote in a post on X as he announced the news of his channel.
The Cavaliers reunion had raised eyebrows earlier this summer amid James’s impending NBA free agency decision.
Shortly after, the NBA superstar informed the Los Angeles Lakers that he would not be returning next season with the Cavaliers emerging as a frontrunner to sign him.
However, James stunned fans when he confirmed his intentions to sign for Philadelphia in July, marking the latest chapter of the 41-year-old’s illustrious NBA career.
James sent the league into a frenzy when he shared an emotional statement announcing the news.
Taking to X, he wrote: ‘I thought I was done when the season ended. I wasn’t ready to announce it, and I knew I needed some time to really decide, but I was pretty sure I played my last game. I was honest at that last press conference when I said I needed to look at myself and decide if I still love this game.

‘I still truly love this game, and I have more to give. The last few weeks have really been special. I’ve never been able to have no clue what to do and take real time to just think. I’ve had an incredible few months with all the people I love trying to figure it all out.
‘This is my last decision. I’m not going for money. I’m not going for family. What am I really playing for at this point? I still want to sacrifice. I still want to work. I still want to grind. I still want to compete, to win and to have a chance at the feeling of winning another championship.

As per the NBA’s transaction log, the 76ers have officially waived former first-round pick Dalen Terry in order to get James’ move to Philadelphia over the line.
In doing so, the 76ers are able to add James’ salary to its payroll without exceeding the first apron, according to NBA salary cap rules.
