Ghanaian musician Rap Fada has caused a stir on social media following a viral video in which he was seen telling fans to move away if they were not ready to have fun.

In the video, shared on Instagram on January 5, 2025, Rap Fada, who was performing at singer Sista Afia’s 10th anniversary celebration in the music industry, was seen driving fans away, noting that anyone not ready to enjoy the concert should go backstage.

I almost took my life because my music wasn’t blowing up – Rap Fada

“Do you know the struggle an artiste goes through before getting a hit song? If you think you don’t have the appetite or you are experiencing a broken heart, go backstage and come back when we are done performing,” he said.

Rap Fada also shared that it took him almost a year for his song to be recognised by Ghanaians, adding that fans present at the event who failed to jam to his music could attract curses.

“Do you know that it took me a year for Ghanaians to hear this particular song? This should tell you that it is not easy for Sista Afia to remain relevant in the music industry for 10 years.

“So those at the back should be very careful because there is a possibility that a curse can come upon you,” he added.
