French Ligue side Le Havre AC has confirmed the departure of Ghana international André Ayew.

The 35-year-old initially joined the side in November 2023 as a free agent after leaving Nottingham Forest.

The former Black Stars captain helped the side to survive relegation.

However, on 4 October 2024, the former Olympique Marseille star rejoined Le Havre after his contract had expired in the summer by signing a one-year deal.

Ahead of the 2025/26 French football season, Le Havre, in a statement, has confirmed the exit of the U-20 World Cup winner.

“Thank you, André. Monster of combativeness, André Ayew was an example for all Heaven and Navy, he who so well understood the HAC and its audience, Le Havre and its inhabitants. Good luck, André!” a club statement said.

Andre Ayew made a total of 49 appearances for the side, scoring nine times.

Ayew has played for nine different clubs, including FC Lorient, Arles-Avignon, Swansea, West Ham, Fenerbahçe, Al-Sadd, and Nottingham Forest.

Now a free agent, Ayew will hope to secure a move to his tenth club.
