A relative of the late TikTok influencer, Osanju, has recounted how Nana Ama McBrown offered support to the young content creator during his prolonged battle with leukemia.

In an emotional interview circulating on social media on September 2, 2025, the woman recalled how Osanju frequently fell ill at night in the months leading up to his passing.

She described his painful struggle with the high cost of medication, noting that despite the challenges, he always found a way to afford the treatment he needed, often through the kindness of strangers he met online.

Among the many who supported him, she highlighted Nana Ama McBrown.

According to her, McBrown’s contribution was so huge that Osanju once said it could have built a storey building.

Instead, every cedi went into life-saving medication.

“He got money from a lot of sympathisers, especially Nana Ama McBrown. He said she gave him some money he could have used to build a storey building. But he used it to buy medicine to save his life,” she recounted.

She further recalled how she and her husband would often rush Osanju to nearby hospitals whenever his condition worsened.

The situation, she said, took a critical turn when he was first admitted to Mount Sinai Hospital.

She recalled seeing symptoms that made her fear the worst, and her fears intensified when he was later transferred by ambulance to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.

At that point, she said she felt certain of the tragic outcome.

The grieving relative also praised Osanju’s landlord for stepping in to help with transporting him to both hospitals in a desperate effort to save his life.
