Former Black Stars midfielder, Laryea Kingston has expressed his readiness to take up a coaching role with any of Ghana’s national teams.

According to Laryea Kingston, he would only accept a job offer from the Ghana Football Association if he gets a professional and supportive working environment.

Speaking in an interview with Sporty FM, the former Hearts of Oak winger reaffirmed his commitment to his country, stressing that nationality and passion would always draw him to such an opportunity.

“I’m a Ghanaian, and anytime the opportunity comes to coach any national team, I will. If the environment is conducive for me, I’ll take the offer,” Kingston said.

Kingston was appointed head coach of the Black Starlets in April 2024 ahead of the WAFU Zone B U-17 Championship in Ghana.

Under his leadership, the team reached the semifinals but suffered a 2–1 defeat to Burkina Faso, missing out on a place in the final.

Following the loss, Kingston’s tenure ended abruptly after he announced his resignation over alleged interference from officials of the GFA.
