Robert Klah is a popular entertainment personality

Media personality Robert Klah has criticised Nigerian filmmaker Nosa Rex over his recent tirade against Ghanaian TV stations.

This follows a post by Rex on his social media account accusing a TV station of airing his movie without permission. He went on to launch insults at Ghanaian media houses, sparking backlash from several notable Ghanaians.

Speaking on Hitz FM on August 13, 2025, Klah acknowledged that while public complaints can raise awareness, indiscriminate attacks and insults are uncalled for.

“Yes, you can lament. If you lament, you are creating awareness. We will hear about the publicity you are creating, capture the content of your publicity, and give it volume and voice… But then, at the back of that, you are insulting; it doesn’t speak well.

“Tomorrow, you will come to Ghana for an interview on a TV station—after you insulted all TV stations. I think that is inappropriate, and we have to call it out: you can’t say that,” he stated.

Klah stressed that he does not defend copyright infringement, emphasising that the unauthorised use of creative work amounts to theft.

However, he urged aggrieved parties to follow proper channels, such as Ghana’s Copyright Office, which has successfully handled similar cases for local creatives.

“Yes, you should call it out. And if you’re asking about bodies responsible, the Copyright Office is there. They’ve done it for a Ghanaian, and they can do it for you. If you go through the right channel, it will be done,” he added.
