    A Lagos bus driver has devised an unconventional method of keeping his money while working: he stores it in the steering wheel’s airbag compartment.

    A video posted by a passenger @official_sexychinwe displayed an unusual yet safe method the driver used to secure his money from transport officials who harass drivers for daily transport allowances.

    As the driver spun the steering wheel, he opened the airbag compartment, serving as a secure and accessible storage space for his passengers’ fares.

    The speed with which he opened and closed the airbag suggested that the man had been storing items in the compartment for a long time, oblivious to the dangers of a car without airbags.

    Viewers have scolded the passenger for revealing the driver’s little secret in the name of creating social media content.

    Many claimed that the unconventional method would be common among other Lagos drivers.
